Participants will learn how to come up with ideas that inspire them to write, and they will leave the workshop with at least 3 unique story ideas they can choose to expand and work on. Chris Vigneau, a local Bridgewater teacher, cartoonist, and writer, will be teaching the class.

Brockton - New England Wild Life Center Sat, July 8th, 1p, LAWN ON EAST EVENT. We will take a look at local wildlife biodiversity with Jack Banagis from the New England Wildlife Centers. We'll explore which animals and habitats are succeeding in our area and why, and will incorporate educational animals (Bearded Dragons, Snakes, Tortoises, Skinks, and a special visit from Falco the hawk) throughout the discussion. Hingham - Evening Kayak Tour at World's End Fri, June 7, 5:30p. The Trustees is partnering with the North and South Rivers Watershed Association to offer guided kayak tours this summer! Launching out of World’s End in Hingham, these adventures will provide participants with a fun and worthwhile outdoor experience. Discover local and natural history, travel the scenic coastline of this amazing property, experience nature up close, learn kayaking skills, all while enjoying views of the Boston skyline in the distance. Each program will be run by the NSRWA’s professional guide who is a certified American Red Cross Lifeguard and Wilderness First Responder. All experience levels welcome. Appropriate for ages 10 and up. One adult chaperone required for youth under 16. Kayaks and all equipment included. Single-person kayaks available only- no multiple-person kayaks available.

Halifax Troop 39 Scouts will be having their Bottle & Can Drive as well as Scouting for Food Donation at Halifax Town Hall! Drop off your donations at the Town Hall Driveway. You can simply drive up and drop off, no need to get our of your vehicle as the Scouts will unload your donations. They will also be doing curbside pickups starting at 9a, so have your donations at the end of your driveway for pickup. This Bottle & Can Drive helps fund the Scouts for camping trips, uniforms, equipment and more. The food will be given to the Halifax Food Pantry at the Halifax Congregational Church.
