Bridgewater - Abandoned: Photographs by Susan Hagstrom Now through Jan 31, open hours Flora T. Little Art Gallery at the Bridgewater Public Library. This exhibit includes an array of images that either show an abandoned place or give you a feeling of loneliness or solitude. Several images, including "Take a Seat," were made at an abandoned mill in Lawrence, MA. The black and white images, "Paned" and "Left Behind" were made in Williamstown, MA. Susan has been a photographer for twenty years, winning many local awards, including first place at the Duxbury Art Association's Winter Juried Show. Susan specializes in portrait photography, event photography and the creation of fine art images.

Winter is one of the best times to search for wildlife. Help us scour our woodlands in search of signs that animals have been out and about. On our scavenger hunt, we’ll keep an eye out for snapped branches, animal homes, footprints, food, and even the critters themselves! Who knows what we’ll stumble upon in the winter woodlands! Dress in warm layers, warm boots, hat and mittens. Bring track guides and binoculars if you have them. Tracking sheets will be provided. This family program is geared towards our young explorers, recommended for ages 5-8 with their caregivers. This program will take approximately 45-60 minutes.
