Dear Members and Friends of Emmanuel,
Thank you for the surprise celebration of my 35 years of ordained ministry last Sunday at the Summer Brunch. The celebration was overwhelming, thoughtful and reflected the love I feel from you every day. It has been an honor to serve as your Pastor for the last eight years. Thank you for your kind notes and words of affirmation. It is a joy sharing in God’s love through this community of faith.
In God’s Grace,
Pastor Rob

Are you doing the right movements for your body? Or in my case, ANY? It’s important to not do the same type of exercising every day. To keep your body well-functioning, mix up the types of exercises that you do. Here are 3 different kinds:
-
AEROBICS helps relax blood vessel walls, lowers blood pressure, burns body fat, and raises good HDL cholesterol.
-
STRENGTH TRAINING builds muscles, which stimulate bone growth, lowers blood sugar, and improve balance and posture.
-
STRETCHING maintains flexibility to keep muscles long and functioning properly and helps with joint pain.
I guess this is all good to know for you people that go to gyms and work out. You’re welcome.
