Easing back into things....not here!

Hopefully everyones kiddos are getting adjusted to the routines of school drop off and after school activities. The beginning of school is full of the excitement from new supplies, new classrooms and new friends. In this newsletter and those you will receive every Wednesday from HAT, we will do our best to get you prepared for upcoming activities and various opportunities. We are always looking for volunteers to be part of the amazing HAM FAM Community. The HAT Board is looking forward to growing this community bigger, stronger and better throughout the year. Hamilton Back to School Block Party

3rd Annual Back to School Block Party is Sunday, September 8th from 12-4pm, with a special pre party just for the littles from 10:30am-12pm. It’s a wonderful day filled with friends, fun, food, music and more. We are looking for volunteers to help make this day a Ham Fam success.

Please check the list of volunteer opportunities here. If you have a middle schooler who is looking for volunteer hours, this is a great way to kick off the year.

BIKE BUS IS BACK!

The Hamilton Bike Bus is BACK and kicking off on Wednesday, Sept 4th thru the end of October!

Join Hamilton families and community members on a bike ride to school each Wednesday. The bus will leave at 7:10 from Wolcott and Belmont and parade around the streets, picking up kids and parents along the way to school. This event will be cancelled in the event of rain.

Lakeview YMCA Back 2 School Bash

Friday, August 30 | 4-7 p.m.

As we close out summer and welcome the upcoming school year, we invite you to join us on Friday, August 30, for the Lake View YMCA’s Back 2 School Bash, where families will enjoy popcorn, first ever aldermanic basketball shootout, fun games, dancing with DJ Almando, and more!

The Back to School Bash is free to attend and open to all in the community!
