Hello Everyone!
On behalf of the St. Emily faculty and staff, I would like to express our excitement and joyful anticipation of the students’ return to school. I hope your family had a wonderful summer and I look forward to welcoming the students on their first day of school. We are all ready for another very successful year at St. Emily.
Wednesday, August 21 is our first day of school. Dismissal will be at 11:30 for Kindergarten through 8th grade. Since there will be no lunch that day, we recommend that you send a snack with your child. All Pre-Kindergarten students will attend from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. with a parent.
Chromebook Insurance
Students in grades K-8 will each be assigned a Chromebook to use throughout the school year. Students are expected to take care of the device. Any damages or loss of the Chromebook are the responsibility of the family/student and will result in a $350 charge. I highly recommend that you purchase the insurance which is quite reasonable at $25 per device. If you would like to purchase this protection, please see the flyer for more information. The deadline to sign up for insurance is September 2, 2024.
Back to School Bash
I sincerely hope that you can join us for the Back to School Bash sponsored by FSA on Monday, August 19. This will be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with friends or make new friends. Teachers will be available in the classroom from 5:00 - 6:00 for families to drop off books, supplies, or just hi.

As many of you know, there has been plenty of construction on the streets near school. If Horner is still closed on our first day, we suggest that you take the side streets to access the back lot and use the church east lot to cut through to the front of the school.
Credit Card Payments Now Accepted
We are excited to now be able to accept credit card payments in the School Office for milk, extended care, used uniforms, etc.
Class Lists
Lists will be posted on the front doors on Friday, August 16 at 3:00 pm.
