Hello Everyone!

What a wonderful first day of school we’ve had! It was great to see the excitement as the students returned to school and to witness the “first day of school” traditions that happened both in front of the school and the back parking lot. It was also a pleasure to welcome the new students who have joined us this year.

Many thanks to FSA for hosting such a wonderful Back To School Bash Monday evening! It was a perfect evening and indeed a pleasure to see so many of our families enjoying just being back together. Thanks also to FSA for the huge sign on the front lawn that welcomed our Eagles back today.

I would also like to thank the following staff for their hard work throughout the summer to make sure that we were ready to open the doors today: Mr. Rick, Mrs. Mullins, Mrs. Geiger and Mrs. Bruno. I also want to thank all the teachers and staff who returned in August, spending many hours getting rooms ready to welcome the students.

Greetings from Fr. Presta - Fr. Presta is doing very well and he wanted to thank everyone who sent clips for the get well video. He is feeling great and really appreciates all the well wishes and prayers during his recovery. We can’t wait to have him back. He misses our community and we miss him!

Dismissal Today - Thanks for your cooperation in the back lot at dismissal. Today’s dismissal went pretty well considering this was our first day back. There will be fewer cars tomorrow as after care will begin.

CHROMEBOOK INSURANCE REMINDER: 

Students in grades K-8 will each be assigned a Chromebook to use throughout the school year. Students are expected to take care of the device. Any damages or loss of the Chromebook are the responsibility of the family/student and will result in a $350 charge. We highly recommend that you purchase the insurance which is quite reasonable at $25 per device. If you would like to purchase this protection, please see the flyer for more information. The deadline to sign up for insurance is September 2, 2024.

PICTURE DAY FORMS COMING HOME TODAY: Wed. August 28 Grades 4-8 and Thurs. August 29 Pre-K-3rd grade. Students may dress out of uniform on their picture day.

Don't forget to check Blackbaud for tuition payment information. Payments need to be made online at Blackbaud. The August payments were due on August 15.

LUNCH VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED DAILY to monitor the K-8 students during lunch and recess at the following times: Kindergarten-3rd grade 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; 4th-8th grade 12:10 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. If you would like to help at either or both, please sign up on this link. If you want to volunteer in any capacity (lunch duty, field trip chaperone, classroom party helper, coach etc.), you need to be Virtus trained and up to date on your compliance: Returning volunteers, please complete a new CANTS form and return to David Mika. New volunteers, need to complete: Keeping Children Safe packet, CANTS, and mandated reporter form..
