On Monday Riverview Rockets had an amazing month. We started off with our Veterans Day Assembly during which we displayed our gratitude and appreciation for all that served. We were so honored to have so many veterans join our celebration and morning meetings. Thank you to our PTA and everyone involved in enabling us to display our sincerest thanks to our local Veterans and their families. Thank you to our Related Arts team for organizing and planning this very special event.

We were blown away by our first and second graders' performances during the World Dance Residency. Students performed dances from around the World. Thank you to the Foundation of Denville for funding this wonderful event. Through this residency, our students learned about different cultures, how to work collaboratively, how to move along with the rhythm and beats associated with different types of music, as well as, how to perform with grit and grace. We are so proud of each and every one of them! We all enjoyed the performance!

Our students lead our monthly whole- school meeting in which they discussed the "O" for Optimism in our R.O.C.K.E.T acronym. They did an amazing job teaching their peers the value of being optimistic and displaying ROCKET behavior!

The third graders displayed their gratitude towards their families with their "Cornucopia of Thanks"! They used poetry, writing, skits, and even humor to express their thankfulness. They truly helped us to get into the spirit of the season!

We would like to wish our entire learning community a Happy Thanksgiving. We have so much to be grateful for and we are thankful for all our members of our community!
