Greetings from the Health Room!

End of the Year Business

Thank you all for your prayers and support this year; I feel it and appreciate it greatly! I wish you all a safe and fun summer. It is always my privilege to care for your children.

Medication: Thank you to all of you who sent in medication for your children this school year. Unfortunately, we are unable to keep the medication for use in the next school year. For safety reasons, we require all medication be picked up by a parent or guardian at the conclusion of the school year.

Health forms are found on the website. If you know you will be sending prescription medication in with your child next year, you may print off the “Prescription Medication Form” (in the health forms section, under the “Parents” tab, on the homepage) and have it signed by your healthcare provider this summer. (You will see forms for Allergy and Asthma as well.) If you plan to allow your child to take over-the-counter medication for your children in the fall, use the "Over-the-Counter Form" and only a parent signature is required.

Seventh Grade Immunizations: A reminder, the state of Ohio requires two vaccines before students enter seventh grade, one dose of Tdap and one dose of Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccine. Thank you to all of you who have returned their immunization documentation. If any further documentation is required for your child, we have sent home letters with specific documentation required for him/her. We realize some of you will have appointments over the summer and hope this will be helpful.

Please feel free to contact me at any time. Elizabeth Pyles 513.624.2191.

Lost and Found

Please come check the Lost and Found and claim any lost items. We are still overflowing! Everything will be donated to the uniform exchange and St. Vincent de Paul very soon. Thank you!

Preschool families will get information from their teachers about their supplies.

Book Swap in the Library

It is hard to believe that we are already facing the end of the school year! To celebrate, we are having a “Book Swap” in the library May 13th-23rd. Clean off those home bookshelves and bring in gently used books to trade for new books for summer. There is no limit on the number of books brought in, but please make sure they are appropriate for our school and in good condition.  For every book brought in, students will receive a ticket to trade in for another book.  Any leftover books will be donated. What a great way to “spring clean” and get some new books for summer reading!

Save the Date for Finding Nemo Kids Auditions!

Students in kindergarten through fourth grade are invited to participate in our upcoming production of Disney Pixar Finding Nemo Kids. Auditions will be held at Guardian Angels Parish Center on Tuesday, August 20th from 2:45– 4 pm.

In the left menu, select GA Musical under the School Musicals heading and click on the hyperlink text to the signup genius. They can be read/memorized. If you cannot read, we will be happy to help you.

The cost is $90. Everyone will get a part. You can make your payment on the Performing Arts website prior to your audition. All fees are due at the time of auditions. (No refunds will be given).

You are required to provide your own costume. We will be offering an option to rent your costume from Spotlight Costume Company (like we have in the past). There will be an additional cost for this service (TBD based on role). More information can be found here.
