BAPTISTS  IN PRAYER TOGETHER

Thank you for joining us today,  as we at the Baptist World Alliance® pray for our worldwide Baptist Family.

Churches, individuals, and organizations are invited to join the Staff of the BWA each week as we pray for the Baptist family around the world.  Please add prayers appropriate to current news from the countries below, as needed.

We share prayer time each Wednesday morning at the BWA International Office in Falls Church, Virginia, USA.

PRAYER FROM THE PEOPLE
(Adapted from the book: In God's Hands, Common Prayer for the World, 2006)

Come, Lord Jesus. Come and make Sierra Leone a better place for the people there and for their children.
You have given them a wonderful country with lovely landscapes, a coast with beautiful beaches, enough rain and sunshine, green vegetation,
fertile land and mineral resources, enough to make each family happy.
We pray with them,
"Somehow Lord, greed, selfishness and corruption overtake us and destroy us;
we confess our manifold sins." We lift up our voices to you: Come, Lord Jesus. Come and make Sierra Leone a better place for the people there and for their children. Amen.
