As a member of the chief tax writing House Ways and Means Committee, Erik helped enact major initiatives in health care, economic and trade policy including the permanent repeal of the Medical Device Tax. Erik is currently the Chairman of the Institute for Gene Therapies and is a sitting board member of both Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. and Pediatric Home Service.
