Medicare Cost Reports - we all have to do them, so why not make it more meaningful and valuable?
Join us to learn about the process of preparing an annual Medicare Cost Report, and much more. As we walk through the elements of preparation, we will also tie key areas to other applications for the data and discuss the impact. Many states use the Medicare Cost report as a basis for Medicaid rate setting, or to inform on annual cost per visit data. Gain an understanding of these correlations and the limitations.
Beyond compliance, explore where this data may be used for other important metrics and trends.

Learning Objectives:
  1. Gain a high-level understanding of how to prepare a Medicare Cost Report.
  2.  Understand correlations of the Medicare Cost Report to Medicaid cost reporting and change-in-scope requests.
  3. Learn other useful applications for the data compiled in your annual MCR.
