Building Closures:

Sterling Heights Parks & Recreation offices will be closed for business Friday, March 29.



The Community Center and Senior Center will be closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The Nature Center will be closed on Friday and Saturday.


Normal operations will resume on Monday, April 1.


Clinton River Trail Update:

In efforts to ensure a safe and sustainable trail system for our community, we are pleased to announce the continuation of the trail reconstruction project between Farmstead Park and Donovan Park.


Please note that the trail will be closed for approximately three weeks, starting from Monday, April 1, weather permitting.


You can still enjoy the open sections of the trail by entering at North Clinton River, Dodge, or South Clinton River Parks but please refrain from entering the closed areas for your safety.

Last call to register for Youth Baseball and Softball leagues before the price increase on April 1!


Youth baseball and softball practices start on April 22. Opening Day will take place on June 1.


There is a guarantee of 10 games (12 scheduled) plus single elimination playoffs.


All players will receive a custom uniform, hat, pants, socks, and belt if applicable. Baseball will be playing in affiliation with PONY and softball will be playing in affiliation with USA Softball. League may play with surrounding communities.


Interested in coaching? 

 

Coaches must be 18 years or older and pass a background check. We will provide necessary training. Experience in baseball and/or softball is preferred.

Join us at the Community Center for some freshly brewed coffee compliments of Deer Camp Coffee Roasting Company & Outfitters, a sweet treat courtesy of Nothing Bundt Cakes, and a great night of live music.


Our final headline show will feature Carry On, a Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young tribute, on April 11. Admission (14 years & older) is $18 for residents and $22 for non-residents. Tickets are available for purchase at the Community Center, online, or at the door.

With Earth Day right around the corner, come create eco-friendly and beautiful crafts on Wednesday, Apr. 17 at 10 a.m. You will take everyday items and upcycle them into masterpieces.


This program is designed for Adaptive Recreation community members only and is guided so no experience is required.

You need to calm down and sign up for our Artist Inside program on Saturday, Apr. 27 at 11 a.m.


Use your creative abilities and pay tribute to Taylor Swift. Enjoy some of Taylor's tunes, and create your own "Swiftie" masterpiece.


This program is open to all ages and abilities, so no experience is required. All supplies are included with fee.

It's time to get the ball rolling! The Bocce Barn opens for the season on Monday, Apr. 1.


Residents and non-residents of all ages can come out Monday through Friday from 5 - 9 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 12 - 6 p.m.


The Bocce Barn will be closed on Thursdays from June 6 - Aug. 29 from 5 - 9 p.m.


Cornhole nights will be hosted on one court every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday!


New this year! Beginning on May 1, the Bocce Barn will be available for private rentals. Please contact the Sterling Heights Parks and Recreation office for more information.
