Downtown Schenectady Tater Trot
Save the Date! | May 20, 12-4 p.m.
We're thrilled to announce our newest downtown food event: The Downtown Schenectady Tater Trot! The event will take place on Saturday, May 20 from 12 to 4 p.m., during which our incredible downtown restaurants will be serving up delicious $1 samples highlighting everyone's favorite ingredient, the potato!
A map and full list of participating restaurants and their potato creations will be posted closer to the event.

- A new Schenectady-focused art appreciation startup group is seeking artists to participate in pop-up events around the city. The first event is June 9-11 and will be held in the retail space at 236 State Street.
- Electronic submission deadline is Friday, May 12 by midnight.

Three Park Schenectady Lots Now Offer Pay-by-Plate Options
Park Schenectady and LAZ Parking have added three Pay-by-Plate Parking Meters to make paying for parking easier and more accessible when paying with cash or card. The Center City, Clinton North, and Franklin & Liberty parking lots now accept cash and credit card payments. Passport parking app payments still accepted at all lots.

- The Myers Studio has offered comprehensive training to young men and women in classical ballet, pointe, partnering, choreography, and related dance forms since 1985, and many students of the studio are dancing in professional companies worldwide today. In 1990, Darlene Myers founded Northeast Ballet Company, the resident company of Proctors, and she continues to serve as Artistic Director. Annual productions of the Nutcracker are enjoyed by more than 5,000 attendees each year.
