Parks and Recreation is gearing up for summer and hiring lifeguards, (starting at $16 an hour), head lifeguards (starting at $18 an hour), beach managers, Seasonal Ground Maintenance Workers, and more. Don't delay, apply today to join our team!

We need your help guarding our swimming lakes and at Chris Greene, Mint Springs and Walnut Creek Lake Parks. The application deadline for lifeguards is June 30 and we want to ensure that our community has a safe, splash-filled summer!

Positions start at $16 an hour for lifeguards, and  $18 an hour for head lifeguards. You’ll have opportunities to earn up to 40 hours a week, from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Lifeguard certification reimbursement is available. You don’t have to be certified to apply, as long as you are before your start date. There’s even an employment bonus of up to $550! Apply as a lifeguard today or apply for other summer job opportunities available in our parks.
