Paul Laconto (center)
Paul Laconto
Harwich, MA

Scouting is blessed by volunteers who are ready and willing to take on any task, work quietly in the background, and then ask what else they can do.  They rarely seek any recognition or complain or criticize.

Paul Laconto is one of those volunteers.  He is a committee member of Troop 76, founder and Advisor of Explorer Post 73 with the Barnstable Amateur Radio Club, Associate Advisor to the Order of the Arrow Lodge, Merit Badge Counselor, and District Committee Member.  He is actively involved with all of these groups as well as many community organizations besides Scouting.

Paul is a principle organizer of the annual Jamboree on the Air program and has a HAM Radio demonstration in the science café at the STEM Journey program.

Thank you, Paul for making a difference
in the lives
of hundreds of young people!
