PA Central Credit Union is not a Bank.
Period.

So what's the big difference?
While we may offer similar products and services, banks and credit unions have inherent differences in structure and mission.
Banks are structured to generate profit for their stockholders. Decisions are made by the bank based upon the impact to the stock price.

On the other hand, decisions made by PA Central are driven by a philosophy that people are worth more than money. Why? Because PA Central is a non-profit financial institution, owned by our members (not stockholders), and chartered to provide products and services to our members. That is our mission. It will NEVER change.
Do you know the benefits of being a credit union member and banking with a credit union?
