We are thrilled to share that we just celebrated our 3-year anniversary of full-time living on the road in our RV! In case you missed our last update, we recently completed our journey of serving in all 48 states of the lower continental US, and we are now settling into a new routine living in Mexico.
Life here is very different, and despite our limited Spanish-speaking abilities, we are learning a lot. It's been amazing to see our kids adapt to a new culture and language. They have picked up an impressive amount of Spanish and love hanging out with the kids at Casa Hogar, playing soccer, Pato Pato Ganso (duck duck goose), and endless games of Teg (tag). One of their favorite things to do is take baths at Agua Termolis, which is a hot spring with tubs to rent nearby. It's a huge blessing for us since we've been showering for the past few years!
We're also excited to have access to a stove outside where we're staying, which is a big change from cooking on a conduction burner for so long. In fact, I cried the first time I used it! I pray in the future I don’t take anything for granted, not even having a tub or stove.
Overall, being in a new country is challenging, but we're excited to be a part of all that God is doing in Mexico.
