It's official! We are excited to announce our new partnership with
Vinings Lake Church
and
The Giving Gardens
for the lease of their Vinings Lake house as the 2nd transitional house for
Family Promise of Cobb County
. Located in Mableton, the 3 bedroom, two bath home will be used to provide temporary housing to families while they work with a case manager to secure a more permanent solution.
The Giving Gardens
,
a nonprofit with the mission of helping interrupt hunger in the local community produces fresh produce for donation to local food banks. They have been using their Vinings Lake house for storage and for temporary housing of interns. They will continue to use the sun room, basement apartment and backyard but the main living area will be used to house a family in transition. They have aptly renamed the house to
The Giving House

We are so grateful for this partnership that will provide food, shelter and hope to Cobb County families! We could use your help on one of our work days (cleaning, sanding, painting, house repair) to help get the house move in ready for our first family. Check out our scheduled work days.
