Pastor Visiting Hours & Office Hours Update

Starting Tuesday, Sept. 5^th, the Church Office will be open from

7:00AM to 4:30PM.

This fall, your pastors are working hard to schedule their office time to best fit the needs of our vibrant church life.

In addition to built-in time for sermon prep, staff meetings, and pastoral visits, we will be offering scheduled visiting hours just for you to drop by and see us at your convenience.

If you want to come see us at other times,

we would ask that you please contact Kryssa Brasch at executiveassistant@waynepres.org to make an appointment. Please note that with this schedule, there will now be a pastor available in the office M-F!

End-of-Summer Picnic - September 10 at 11:00AM

Join us after worship to celebrate the end of summer and look ahead to our fall programs! We will gather at 11:00 a.m. (right after our last 10:00 worship service) for lunch, fellowship, moon bounces, ice cream, face painting, music, crafts and more! WPC Fall Programming Kickoff - September 17

Please plan to come back to WPC for the start of our many fall programs for spiritual growth, fellowship, worship and music! We will return to our worship services at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m., and we will kick off our fall education programs, including children’s and youth Sunday school. Opportunities to Serve

Church Office Volunteer Opportunity!

Might you have 3 hours a week to give to your church? We are seeking friendly volunteers to serve in the church office, answering the phone, greeting visitors and vendors, and helping staff and committee members with routine tasks. Monday through Friday, there will be 2 shifts of 3 hours each, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Training will be provided.

If you might be interested in helping to present a warm and welcoming voice and face during business hours at WPC to members and visitors, please contact Pamela Jensen (at jens0581@umn.edu or 610-688-6717) or Mary Ellen Smith (at mesmithrn@comcast.net or 215-808-9386) for more information. Faith in Action

Are you looking for a way to share in the celebration of Labor Day? If you are an adult (children between 12 and 17 must have adult supervision), then look no further than Outley House in SW Philadelphia. We will be preparing and serving lunch at the Outley House Men's Shelter (6901 Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia) on Saturday, September 2nd, beginning at 9:00 a.m. (finishing by 1:00 p.m.). Masks are recommended (Plexiglass screen has been installed on the serving line!). Call Carmela Curatola at 484-463-7416 if you are planning to join us. WPC Parking Lot

Traffic Flow Changes

Radnor Police Superintendent Flannigan informed us that they will be installing Do Not Enter/ One Way signs on the parking lot islands north of our main walk way/ramp. Radnor will have a Police Officer on site to monitor and write tickets. We are alerting the Congregation and Staff to follow the rules, as they will also be ticketed.
