Drawing to be held Saturday, May 4th, at 8pm at the World War II Memorial Building. Proceeds will be used to create a private study and meeting space for the community.

Item 4: Wautoma Garden Center & Floral is putting together a stunning floral arrangement and gift certificate!

Author and investigator, Chad Lewis showcases his on-site investigations of Bigfoot of the north woods and the monster of Lake Pepin to phantom chickens and Hellhounds roaming rural Wisconsin. Filled with witness drawings, eye-witness testimony, weird photos, and bizarre sound clips, this presentation brings the investigation right to YOU!

Winnefox card holders now have access to Kanopy Kids, a video streaming platform collection that features entertaining and educational films, TV series, and videos for kids! Kanopy Kids includes developmentally appropriate, age-based ratings, as well as additional parental controls. Seven kits were put together through a partnership with the Waushara Department of Aging to provide caregivers and care recipients with meaningful activities and conversation stimulation. Each activity can be modified to fit your needs.

Community Resources

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library provides FREE books to ANY child from birth to 5 years old all around the world every month to support and enhance children’s literacy before they get to school.


Each book is age-appropriate for the child, automatically updates as the child ages, and is addressed to them in the mail.


To join this program, a community has to have an affiliate for their geographic county. Waushara County is lucky to have passionate individuals who have recently launched this opportunity!
