Did you know? The average teaching experience of our faculty is 16.9 years and 69% of the faculty, administration, and counseling staffs combined hold advanced degrees.

All In Starts TODAY!

ALL IN for the Eagles 2024 kicks off at 7:00 a.m. this morning and closes at 8:00 p.m. on Friday! This year our goal is 500 donors. Any gift amount counts.

This year we have a friendly competition for our current classes! The class that generates the highest number of donations wins a Sunrise Breakfast from McDonald's, coupons for McDonald's ice cream, and a free dress down day by promoting the event with your friends and family. (This is not a total dollar amount, but a total number of actual donations given.)

Click on the links below to give.

When you click you can choose to direct your gift toward Faith, Community or Excellence here at BWHS!

Thank you for your support of our school!

Seniors: Class of 2024
Sophomores: Class of 2026
Juniors: Class of 2025

Thank you to the Holowicki family for providing the McDonald's class challenge for our students and families!

Still Have Space for Employers

Bishop Watterson will be hosting its 3rd Annual Job Fair for students during lunch periods on Wednesday, April 24. Parents: if you know a company that would like to reserve a table, please contact Mr. Smith, dsmith@bwhs.org, or Mr. Johnston, tjohnston@bwhs.org. More information to follow.

Diaper Drive

Bishop Watterson is hosting a Bottoms Up Diaper Drive on Friday, April 26. Bottoms Up is a great organization which helps single mothers by providing diapers for their children. On average, 1 in 2 U.S. families struggle to provide diapers for their children, so these donations will be extremely helpful. We ask that on donation day, April 26, each student brings in one (or more) package of diapers or baby wipes. Students that participate will receive a dress down day on April 26.

Live N Learn - Opportunity to Host A Student From Spain

Please join us Wednesday, April 24 at 6:30 p.m. when Live N Learn, an Ohio-based non-profit, hosts a Zoom meeting for Bishop Watterson families. The Zoom meeting will give families information about a four-week summer hosting program planned for this July. Families can host a student from Spain for one to four weeks during the program which lasts June 28-July 26. Live N Learn will match your family with a Spanish student based on age, gender, interests, and personalities. The students speak English so no Spanish knowledge is needed. It's the perfect way to have a cultural experience without leaving your home.

Parking for 2024-25

It's time to start thinking about carpools for the 2024-25 school year! Only rising juniors and seniors are eligible for a Bishop Watterson parking lot spot. Primary registration for the 2024-25 parking lottery will be held digitally May 7-8. Only carpools with three or more students may be registered during this window. We will open up waitlist only spots to carpools of 2 or less the week of May 13. We are conducting the lottery process in May again this year in order to ensure that students have the best chance of filling their carpools.

Looking for your child to join a carpool? While BWHS does not arrange carpools, we can pass your information along to upperclassmen who are looking to fill their cars for the 2024-25 school year. If you are interested in joining a carpool, click here to complete a Google form. If you already have an established carpool, please do not complete this form.
