NEW YORK -- America’s Black Forum is hosted by political analyst and National Urban League President and CEO, Marc H. Morial, and reaching its widest audience in history.
“With its focus on the news and events that affect Black Americans, ABF is a uniquely valuable asset to our communities,” Morial said. “It’s so important for us to tell our own stories, and ABF reinforces the impact and reach of Black voices.”
Each week, ABF features in-depth and engaging interviews with newsmakers, influencers, business entrepreneurs, artists, health and wellness experts, and social justice leaders. The show is syndicated nationally, reaching more than 200 markets and 95 percent of total TV households, and airs Saturday mornings at 7AM EST on Bounce TV. America’s Black Forum is produced by Central City Productions. CCP Chairman and CEO Don Jackson is Executive Producer, Mario Tharpe is Supervising Producer and Jennifer J. Jackson is Executive in Charge of Production.
“As we celebrate 50 years of producing Black Excellence , the goal of Central City Productions has always been to proudly serve and support the African American community with uplifting, positive and aspirational programming,” Don Jackson said. “CCP makes it a point to continue to raise up the members of the African American community with shows like America’s Black Forum to promote the positive aspects and happenings in Black America.”
The first nationally syndicated Black news interview program on commercial television, ABF premiered in 1977 with the late journalist Glen Ford at the helm. Previous hosts include CBS sportscaster James Brown and journalist Juan Williams.
