WARRIOR WEEKLY Mar 7th - Mar 11th
Happy Women's History Month,

To kick off our celebration of women leaders I want to start with Ra'mya Davis. Our senior leader makes waves in and out of the building. Not only is Ra'mya leading our school effort to rethink Celebrating Our Roots programming, but Ra'mya will also be serving as a delegate for the United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP) this year. Next week, Ra'mya will be part of the 104 national student delegation, who will each also receive a $10,000 college scholarship for undergraduate study. During the program week, the student delegates will attend online meetings and briefings with senators, the president, a justice of the Supreme Court, leaders of cabinet agencies, among others.

Families, your students demonstrate their leadership daily in our building and classroom. Ra'mya is one of many who have stepped up to lead and serve their community. We are thankful for your guidance and allow TMA to support you in partnership.

Calling all youth in grades 6-12! Take action for voting rights at the Virtual Phone Bank on Thursday, March 17 at 5:00 - 7:00 pm CT (6-8pm ET / 3-5pm PT).
This event is an opportunity for young people to get involved in voter mobilization together! Youth will be trained in how to effectively phone bank, and then get to practice those new skills with support from their peers and Mikva staff as they make calls from home to make sure community members understand how, when, where, and WHY it is so important for them to vote in their next election.
