October, 15 2014 - In This Issue:
What a busy summer!
I had such a busy few months I missed out on sending a September Newsletter, oops! I hope you bear with me as this newsletter is a little longer than usual.
Since starting Another Hand Advantage in January I've attended a lot of networking events and mixers.  Although the primary purpose, of course, is to make connections and hopefully walk away with some new business, I've found the best part has really been listening to everyone's stories as to how they started their business or ended up working for the company they represent.  I've met many such connections and heard inspiring stories through Local First Arizona, StartUp Grind and most recently the National Association of Professional Organizers - Arizona Chapter.  I know "networking" isn't for everyone, but I encourage you to attend a few events and find one that is the right fit for you.  Also, try to change your perspective and intent when you attend a meeting or event. Instead of trying to get your business card into as many hands as possible, invest some time learning what inspires the people you meet.  You might just find a spark of inspiration yourself and, in time, maybe a lead or two, also.

The Coach Sports Grille
Thank you for your business!

I'd like to congratulate The Coach Sports Grille in Madison Heights, MI on their new website!  I had the pleasure of working with them in September on updating their old "starter" site to a more professional site which features their full menu, pictures of some of their delicious menu items and weekly live music performers.  Included in all of our webdesign packages is basic search engine optimization and in our redesign packages, search engine submission.  Since the new site has been up, new users to the site has increased from 18.2% to 76.8%!  That's great news for The Coach and anyone searching for a great restaurant in the area.
100 Women + 1 Hour = $10,000 To a Local Charity
Introducing two new chapters of 100 Women Who Care

I'm excited to announce that I am now part of two new local chapters of the international organization, 100 Women Who Care.  It's a simple concept with a BIG impact.  Once a quarter 100+ women meet for one hour.  During that time three local non-profits are presented, the group votes, each member writes a check for $100 and one lucky non-profit is the recipient of $10,000 (or more!).  Please take a moment to stop by www.100wwcphoenix.org (brought to you by Another Hand Advantage, of course!) to learn more.  We have launch events coming up in November, with dates and times as well as Membership Forms posted on the website.

WE'VE JOINED THE ARIZONA TRADE EXCHANGE

I'm very selective about the organizations I choose to get Another Hand Advantage involved in, but after several meetings with representatives from ATE I decided it would be a great program to be a part of. If you're looking for a new way to gain exposure in Arizona I highly recommend you check them out. Hopefully we'll be trading services soon! Click here to learn more and contact Chalon Washington if you have any questions or would like to join.
57 Ways To Sign Off On An Email
Useful tips and some laughs, too

Have you ever finished an email and then wondered how you were going to sign it?  Sincerely? Regards? Warmly? And nothing seems quite right?  I found this article posted to Forbes and couldn't wait to pass it along.  In addition to offering some great suggestions, it also pokes some fun at some salutations you may have seen that left you scratching your head.  My favorite has to be "High Five From Down Low"!
