STAFF UPDATE
As we head into a new fiscal year, we wanted to share some important updates with you!
CARE MINISTRY
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Lynne Bauman for her exceptional oversight of our Care Team over the past two years. Starting July 1, Lynne will dedicate her efforts to leading our Women’s Ministry. Lucy Houghton, Director of Care Ministries, will be promoted to Care Team Leader. In this role, Lucy will be responsible for providing vision, direction, and strategy for our Care Ministry, and for supporting our Care staff, leaders, and volunteers.
MEN’S MINISTRY
We are excited to announce that Andy Karam has completed pastoral training and accepted the position of part-time Pastor of Men at Walnut Hill. Andy will provide vision, direction, and strategy for our Men’s Ministry and will also oversee our Marriage Ministry Team.
WORSHIP & ARTS MINISTRY
Over the past year, our Worship and Arts Ministry has been overseen by Adam DePasquale, Chris Vitarello, and Rebecca Smith-Jutton, along with Campus Worship Leaders and volunteers across our campuses. Having seen success with this model, beginning July 1:

Within his role as Lead Pastor – Executive, Adam DePasquale will continue to provide pastoral leadership to the arts ministry, encompassing music, visual, drama, literary, and dance.

Chris Vitarello will be promoted to Worship Director, focusing on the music-oriented aspects of the worship ministry and supporting more than 90 volunteers across all campuses.

Rebecca Smith-Jutton will be promoted to Worship & Arts Project Manager, supporting the ministry’s various initiatives and special events throughout the year.

We are grateful for Sarah Jennings (New Milford), Taryn Fernandez (Waterbury), and Anahi Valentin & Mariel Cruz (Valley) who continue to provide oversight to worship at our campuses.
OTHER STAFF CHANGES

Brian Prue: After twelve years of service at Walnut Hill, Brian Prue is stepping into a new season, focusing on his Executive Coaching business and ministry work in New England. We are grateful for Brian’s leadership and impact at the New Milford and Bethel Campuses, as well as in Litchfield County. Brian and his family will continue to worship at Walnut Hill.

Steve Martin: As we conclude our Lead Pastor Transition, Steve Martin concludes his role as Interim Director of Strategic Initiatives and joins the software company FrictionlessIT as their CEO. We are grateful for the support Steve provided to Craig and Adam this past year and his leadership within the church. Steve and his family will continue to worship at Walnut Hill.
