Programs & Events

(registration opens 2 weeks before each program & event)

Celebrate Library Card Sign-up Month this September with the Wallington Veterans Memorial Library and the American Library Association! We're inviting everyone to discover the incredible resources and opportunities available at your local library by signing up for a library card.

This year, we’re thrilled to have Optimus Prime from the TRANSFORMERS as our special ambassador, highlighting that there's more than meets the eye at Wallington Public Library. Whether you're looking to enhance your skills, find valuable information, or connect with fellow avid readers, a library card unlocks a world of possibilities.

Don’t miss out! Partake in spreading the library love— take a photo with your library card and share your favorite story of a time at the library! Be sure to tag us @wallingtonlibrary on Facebook and Instagram.

"In Kim Michele Richardson's beautifully and authentically rendered The Book Woman's Daughter she once again paints a stunning portrait of the raw, somber beauty of Appalachia, the strong resolve of remarkable women living in a world dominated by men, and the power of books and sisterhood to prevail in the harshest circumstances. A critical and profoundly important read for our time. Badassery womanhood at its best!"
