New Features with the Latest Upgrade

Optimized network communications improving reliability, stability, faster transfer, and less data loss
Compliance with GSA requirements for security with information encrypted at rest (all W900s & W600s w/Enhanced Ethernet cards)
Changed to four levels of security for remote connections as well as at the local user interface (touchscreen)
Expanded Fluorometer calibration settings enabling calibration either in the controller (current) or at the sensor
New email field for user-requested “forgot password” requests
Added new standard Engineering units to BACnet

Meet our New Walchem Regional Sales Manager

Sean Bowen

We are excited to introduce Sean Bowen as our new Walchem Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast U.S. Sean is a Chemical Engineer with a degree from McMaster University and brings a wealth of experience in the water treatment industry, having worked with specialty chemicals and equipment since 2013.

His career includes roles as an account manager in Ontario's steel industry, an area manager for pulp and paper mills in British Columbia, and most recently, as a sales & marketing manager focusing on the food & beverage sector across Canada. Sean is well-versed in Walchem equipment, having worked with our products throughout his career. In July, Sean furthered his expertise by earning an MBA from the University of Fredericton.

Based in Dundas, Ontario, he lives with his wife Natalie, their two-year-old son Calvin, and their yellow lab Walter. Sean is passionate about staying active and is currently training for the Chicago Marathon in October.

Sean is thrilled to join the Walchem family and looks forward to working with our distributors and customers in the Northeast U.S. He will be attending the AWT Convention next week in Louisville and invites you to stop by the Walchem booth to meet him in person!
