• Locally owned Good & Golden is a unique pop-up dining experience by chef Lasamee Kettavong and her husband. They serve authentic Lao cuisine through interactive dinners, pop-ups and meal pickups, all while teaching about Lao culture and history.
• Since its construction in 1927, City Hall West in Denton once symbolized the city's growth and modernization. Over the years, the old City Hall served various purposes but has remained vacant since 2017, awaiting future plans.
• The grandmother of a 27-year-old man who died in jail in September has filed a federal lawsuit against Denton County officials. Heath Aaron Vandeventer's cause of death was ruled as dehydration.
