Owned by seven locals, it offers fresh produce, products and spices, and has an in-store kitchen serving popular items like samosas.The new South Asian grocery store — 436 S. Interstate 35, Suite 330 — opened in early June and sells fresh South Asian produce, spices, rice grains and has an in-store kitchen.

Crime: Denton police arrest elderly man on firearm charge in alleged road rage incident


Denton police arrested a 78-year-old man after he allegedly threatened and followed another driver in a road rage incident, according to a police report. He was charged with disorderly conduct displaying a firearm in a public place.
