Special Olympics Minnesota provides sports training and competition for people with intellectual disabilities of all ages. This year’s Waconia Polar Plunge was held on February 10 on Lake Waconia, and the event has raised over $500k for Special Olympics Minnesota in its history in Waconia.

The April Luncheon was nothing short of inspiring as we delved into the incredible work of charitable nonprofit organizations in our community! Panel speakers Mark Anderson - Special Olympics Minnesota, Angie Cruzen - Gather and Grow Food Shelf & Connection Center, and Al Norby - Love INC of Carver County shared invaluable insights into the challenges, opportunities, and rewards of their roles in empowering our community.
As we celebrate National Volunteer Week this week, let's give a big shoutout to the volunteers who fuel the missions of these and other nonprofit organizations!

Island View Golf to Host Golf Day Minnesota

The inaugural Golf Day Minnesota will be held at Island View Golf Club. There will be a live broadcast of KFAN’s Tee-to-Green Golf Show followed by an 18-hold fundraiser supporting the Minnesota Golf Foundation and Youth on Course Minnesota.
Congratulations to Island View Golf Club, who was named the 2023 MGA Member Club of the Year in recognition of the facility’s support of the MGA Associate Member program and willingness to host MGA championships and qualifiers.

We apply individual coaching to each and every athlete in our small limited class size. We can help every child, whether they play sports or whether they need to get out of the house and just move.
