WaKIDS Cutoff for New Students
Friday October 14th is the WaKIDs assessment cutoff for any new kindergarten student entering your classrooms. The assessment will not need to be completed for any new student coming after October 14th. Additionally, the WaKIDS assessment is due on October 31st.
Old Timesheets Due
Do you have any outstanding timesheets from last school year? This Friday is the deadline to turn in any timesheets from the 21-22 school year. To guarantee they are accepted on time, please hand deliver to the payroll office by this Friday. Request a date received stamp and keep a copy for your records. Following these steps will ensure you get paid the hours you worked.
Records for Salary Placement
At the end of this month, records for education and experience will need to be turned in for advancement on the salary schedule for this school year. This includes clock hour records, transcripts, and verification of employment (VOE). Any classes must have been completed by September 30th. Any new hires will have 90 calendar days from their first working day to get this paperwork turned in. These documents should be hand delivered to the front desk at the district office or your HR generalist. Always request a date received stamp and keep a copy for your records. Should you miss the timeline, you will not be able to be placed correctly on the salary schedule until next fall. PLEASE DON’T MISS DEADLINE.
