This March, the Lake County General Health District (LCGHD) successfully completed a review process to maintain its accreditation status through the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) for another five years. Being reaccredited means that LCGHD meets PHAB’s quality standards and measures, and has the capacity to continue to evolve, improve and advance to positively impact the health of Lake County residents.

GMI will be celebrating it's 45th birthday on July 1, 2024.

The 2024 State of the Cities presented by Lake Development Authority at Lavera Party Center was a great success!

Everyone enjoyed a great breakfast by Lavera, networking and listening to the presentations from our mayors filled with great information, updates and laughs!

We paid a special tribute to Mayor Dennis Morley and presented a donation of $1000 to the American Heart Association, an organization that was very important to Dennis. Thank you to every who donated food to First Presbyterian Church of Willoughby with our Chamber Cares presented by Custom Cleaning & Maintenance initiative!
