Five WVNCC Safety Tips:
.) Be Alert: Always be aware of your surroundings, especially when walking alone. When walking at night try and stay in will-lit areas.
.) Have a Plan: Always have a plan of escape. Whether it be your classroom, building, or parking lot. It is always good to be prepared.
.) Report Suspicious Activity: Calling campus security authorities or reporting to staff or faculty can help protect you and our campus.

.) Trust Your Instincts: Officer Faldowski recommends not to dismiss your suspicious feelings. Go with your gut!
.) Lock your car and keep belongings out of sight: you should park in well-lit areas that are well populated and in sight. Lock your car as soon as you enter and exit your vehicles. Keep your keys in hand walking towards your car for quick access.
