The award will be given to Mr. Sweeney at the World Trade Centers Day celebration on May 4, 2016 for his vision and leadership and the important role that real estate development and infrastructure play in advancing the global competitiveness of the Greater Philadelphia Region.
Through Mr. Sweeney's leadership, Brandywine has become one of the largest, full-service, integrated real estate companies in the nation, with a market capitalization of approximately $5.0B. And, as Chairman of the Philadelphia Regional Port Authority, Sweeney is leading the charge to enhance and grow the Philadelphia ports and its resources--a critical initiative for the WTCGP for advancing global trade in the Southeastern PA region.
