WSRA Board of Directors:
WSRA is seeking candidates for its Board of Directors. Board candidates must be members (precious metal, organization or individual) in good standing who are willing to commit at least 8 - 12 hours per month to working on WSRA activities. Being part of the WSRA Board of Directors is a great way to help set the direction for the association's work and is rewarding, educational, and lots of fun!

A packet of information about serving on the WSRA board is HERE. You can view current Board members HERE. WSRA Board terms are two year term. This year, six board members terms will be ending with many choosing to re-run. Fill board information (names, pictures, biographies, titles, and organizations) will be included in election ballot distributed to the main contact of each member for our 2021 election.

To be considered, please fill out the nomination form by 5:00 PM on March 16, 2021. Information from your form will be used by the nominating committee to prepare the ballot and used to prepare the Election Packet that's sent to the membership for voting.

WSRA is seeking logo contest entries for our 41st Annual Conference & Trade Show in May 2021.

Help us represent our 2021 Conference theme of “Sunny Days Ahead,” which encourages all to look forward to a hopeful future for the recycling industry and evokes the feeling of a sunny or tropical getaway (a welcome break from our pandemic reality).

Recycler of the Year and Hall of Fame Awards
The Recycler of the Year awards spotlight individuals, businesses, government agencies and community organizations that are making outstanding contributions to expanding and strengthening recycling and waste prevention. WSRA welcomes nominations of individuals and organizations that have demonstrated noteworthy dedication, innovation and success in recycling initiatives across the state.
 
Be sure to nominate a business or individual making strides to improve the recycling/waste reduction industry so they get the recognition they deserve!
 
A committee of recycling professionals and community members will review 2021 Recycler of the Year nominations and select recipients, whose accomplishments will be featured at our Annual Conference, to be held virtually on May 24 - 25, 2021.
 
Nominations are due by 5:00 PM on Friday, March 26, 2021.
 
To submit a nomination, simply download and fill out the form then email the completed form to recycle@wsra.net.
