A Message From Your President | |
|
Dear Women of Rodef Sholom and friends,
The current term for the Women of Rodef Sholom's Board of Directors concludes at the end of June 2024 and it will also be the conclusion of my Presidential tenure. It has been a true honor to serve as your President for the past three years. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you. It has been an amazing journey to lead our remarkable organization through such a time of change, transition and growth. The commitment, passion, and hard work that shines out from WRS through the many contributions of the Board of Directors, committees, volunteers, members and partners is awe inspiring! Our sacred partnership with the Congregation Rodef Sholom’s Clergy and Staff is truly remarkable. It was a highlight for me to interact with so many leaders in our community, as well as being of service on the Congregation Board.
The Women of Rodef Sholom is a beacon of support, purpose, connection, community, and friendship for so many of us; especially during periods when being part of a community is so important, and brings such comfort, joy and meaning to our lives.
I have learned so much about the benefits of being in community, being of service, and leading with humility and kindness from my time with WRS. I am very proud of the many accomplishments and strides that have been made by WRS during these transitional years. It has been one of my life’s greatest honors to get to meet and know so many of you and these connections have given me a tremendous sense of satisfaction, purpose and joy! I will always hold a special place in my heart for WRS! Thank you for your support and for being such a wonderful community!
I look forward to continuing to serve WRS as the Immediate Past President.

We want a strong democracy and a community where everyone - whatever our color, background, or zip code - belongs. Democracy thrives when every voice is heard and every vote is cast and counted. But today, forces of division are restricting the freedom to vote based on what we look like or where we live. Together, we will learn and act to ensure all have an equal say in our democracy.
