SEE UPDATES TO STAGING AND GARAGE PARKING

NJMP Load-in and Logistics

WRL heads to New Jersey Motorsports Park - Thunderbolt! NJMP will mark the last round of the 2023 "regular" season - meaning critical points for the 2023 National Championship at COTA will be on the line! This 2.25 mile circuit offers 14 turns, a ton of character and plenty of challenges for our racers.

Arrival and staging - SEE DIAGRAM BELOW - When you arrive you will enter through the front gate and stage in the far right lane just before the guard shack. You will be able to proceed from staging to the registration buidling to get checked in while you wait.

Load-in for NJMP test day will begin on Weds, please refer to communications from NJMP on load-in times for their open test

Load-in for WRL competitor not participating in the test will begin at 2:00 PM on Thursday 9/28. Parking spaces adjacent to garages will be reserved for garage teams. Teams without garages should refer to pit assignments below to determine their paddock position.

The gravel area behind 1xx garages are reserved for those garages only.

Garages 2-2x should park parallel to that garage building in the gravel area as near to their garage as possible. Those spots are first come first served. DO NOT BACK UP TO YOUR GARAGE IF YOU ARE IN 2-2x - If you'd like to switch to a 1xx garage (adjacent to pit road) please notify Jaycie in registration.

Garages are still available if anyone would like to add, see registration for additional information.

POWER - is first come first served, power is $50/weekend payable to WRL at registration. A wristband must be displayed on your cord to plug into power, wristband will be given at time of payment for power.

New Jersey Motorsports Park 2023 Supplemental Rules

Important Reminders:

This is a spectator-friendly event! Credentials, schedule, tickets, and more information are on Page 2 of the supplemental rules. You only need to email or text Jaycie a list of names if arrival is OUTSIDE of the listed open hours for credentials. Regular spectator info can be found here: racewrl.com/watch

Please read the NJMP specific fueling, weather stoppage, and tech check rules on Page 4 of the supplemental rules.

Fuel cans and fuel stations in NJ - Fuel stations in New Jersey do not allow self-service, this means that a fuel attendant must pump your fuel at fuel stations. These attendants can only pump into RED vessels if they're less than 10 gallons. Anyting over 10 gallons made of a proper material may be filled regardless of color (fuel drums of various sizes, larger fuel cans, etc) but must be marked as "fuel only" - WRL will have a few fuel-only stickers for drums if teams need them (first come first served). NJMP fuel pumps are manned between 8AM - 5PM but are self-service outside of those hours. Red VP fuel jugs are an easy option to fill at a station (and transfer to your race jugs) if you have them but keep in mind other color VP jugs won't be accepted. Per NJMP some teams have had success covering their ATL jugs with a red fabric at events with other sanctioning bodies.

NJMP Tech Check - ALL VEHICLES must be cleared through tech for NJMP’s tech check. Please see Garage 1/26. You will not be allowed on track if

you are not cleared. For those participating in NJMP’s test day, you do not need to redo this process but you will need to complete your WRL annual tech if that has not been done for 2023. More details on this will be announced on Thursday. WRL officials will attempt to do this NJ required additional inspection in your paddock area on Thursday.

See NJMP's Tech Form Here

REAR NUMBERS - As per our 2023 Rules (A.4.i) vehicles need to have numbers on the rear.

(CAR NUMBERS: Numbers must be 8” or taller required on both doors. 4” tall numbers (minimum) are required on windshield (passenger side, perforated vinyl is recommended for any numbers placed on glass/lexan) and 4” tall numbers (minimum) on rear of car (deck, bumpers and glass are acceptable).)
