Augusta Regional Airport is going to talk to the Chapter about the 5th Annual Innovation XChange. The Innovation Xchange is a one day forum that focuses on unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), advanced air mobility (AAM), and UAS/AAM cyber security issues.  It is coming to Augusta on March 14, 2024. Come and learn how you can be a part of it.

Greg Garman, the Tactical Operations Manager for the FAA Eastern Service Area, responsible for airspace access, waivers, and authorization for use of the National Airspace System is going to be sharing information on the additional BVLOS options that are on the horizon for law enforcement/First Responder UAS operators (Public Aircraft Operators) and the current climate from senior FAA and government leadership concerning the advancement of UAS.

James “Jim” Chaney the FAASTeam Program Manager (OPS) for the Atlanta FSO, SO-11 is going to share with us information on Remote ID and WINGS credit. Learn the differences between recreational and commercial operations and how you can comply. Remember, if your drone is registered, it has to have remote ID.

Our chapter members are going share some important updates on Uncrewed systems in the State of Georgia. Learn how you can share your information too.
