July 20 - Attend Community Pints at Captain Lawrence

Join us Thursday, July 20th from 6 pm to 10 pm for a fun evening out at Westchester’s favorite brewery! All ages are welcome! 


A minimum $5 donation gets you happy hour pricing on all beers and cocktails. With a $25 or $50 donation, you’ll get a WIHD beer glass or swag.

Sept 14 to 17 - One Too Many 5K to end child abuse

Anyone, anywhere can join this virtual 5K to end child abuse and receive a t-shirt. 

Select "Children's Advocacy Center at WIHD" at check-out when registering here!


Bonus in-person option! All 5K registrants are invited to WIHD on Thurs., Sept. 14th (4:30pm - 8pm) to walk in-person and attend a Pasta Party. Email epavlovich@wihd.org by Sept. 8th to attend or learn more.

Read our latest Annual Report

In 2022, we developed new programs to support employment for young adults with disabilities and a speaker’s network to empower self-advocates, among other innovations and adaptations to the ‘new normal’ work environment. This has truly been a year of renewal and growth for WIHD!

Two hundred friends and supporters attended our Annual Spring Gala in May to enjoy drinks and dinner, participate in the silent auction, and learn more about our programs and partnerships that improve the lives of people with disabilities as well as vulnerable children.
