Registration will close on June 9, 2024

Estimate Pre-Meet Athlete Registration is at 6PM on Thursday, June 13th(after clinic concludes) athlete registration, nail check, body marking available. It is recommended for athletes to check-in after the clinic on Thursday.

2024 Central Zone Multicultural Meet

Meet Format:

Uniquely formatted to celebrate diversity in coordination with the 2024 USA Swimming Olympic Team Trials. This meet will be a 2.5 day format with one all ages session on both Friday Afternoon and Sunday Morning and two sessions on Saturday with a guest speaker in between. 

 

Our schedule will be somewhat flexible and subject to change based on entries.  We will have session capacity limits, so we reserve the right to change session times, and even potential age groups during sessions.

Notes from WSI Staff


At the HOD meeting on April 20, 2024, Wisconsin Swimming, Inc. Policy 2.4.9 was ratified and the Meet Financial Report will now be due within 7 days of meet end. This change now aligns the schedule for all post meet reporting to the same time period.  


The LSC will be making this update effective with meets taking place on or after May 1, 2024.  


You are receiving this notice because you submitted a sanction or approval request to host a meet on or after May 1, 2024 and the previous post sanctioning requirements email you received conflicts with the updated policy.  Please be sure to update the due date for the Meet Financial Report for your spring/summer meet. As a reminder, announcements will also be included in the weekly LSC newsletter. If you are not the person who submits the Meet Financial, please forward this info to the proper personnel to ensure timely reporting.

Divisions for 2024 Long Course/2025 Short Course LSC Championships


(Based on 2024 SCY Champs Performance) Updated 5/7/2024

Following the conclusion of the short course championship meets, teams will be given points for their performance at each short course championship. A team that scores first out of 50 teams would get 50 points. Second gets 49 points, third 48 points, etc. All teams that fail to score earn zero points. Point totals from the championship meets will be totalled and the teams ranked. Division 1: The top 10 teams combined performance; Division 2: Teams 11-30;


Division 3: Teams 31+

The rankings created from this list will create the divisions for the upcoming long course championships and the following year's Single Age and Short Course Championships (no divisions for open water championships).

I can't believe it’s less than three months to the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming! For the first time, USA Swimming will build a pool on an NFL field as Lucas Oil Stadium hosts Trials June 15-23 in Indianapolis, IN. With a total capacity of 30,000 fans, 2024 Trials can become the largest swim meet in history.


As a reminder, single-session tickets are now available starting at just $15. With all-session, single-day, and single-session tickets available, there is a plan for every fan. Check out the order of events and start planning your customized trip to Indy.
