Message from the Village President, Kevin Buckley
Tomorrow is Election Tuesday. If you are unsure where to vote, or want to view a sample ballot, read below for details. Of note, you may want to research the two Wisconsin State Constitutional amendments appearing on the ballot prior to voting.
Finally, we need your opinion. The village has launched a community survey, our first in almost 20 years. The data from the survey and focus group discussions will help guide the village over the next 3-5 years. Thank you in advance for taking time to complete this survey!

Save the Date!
Tuesday, April 2 – Election Day
Visit the School Board website for more information on the upcoming school board election.
HS Tower Construction
For several years, there has been slight water incursion below the High School tower. To stop water incursion and maintain the integrity of the building below the tower, the tower requires significant repairs and a complete rebuild of a large portion. The rebuilt portions of the tower will be constructed to avoid potential water incursion in the future, and will visually appear the same as the current structure. The majority of construction on the tower will be done between April 1, 2024 and August 30, 2024.
There may be times in which the High School main entrance will be temporarily unavailable due to the work on the tower. Please look for signage and follow directions accordingly for main office/school access. Should you have any questions, please contact Mr. Brian Chase at 414-963-3962.

2024 Edible Book Festival

https://www.wfblibrary.org/our_events/?eid=1702
The 2024 Edible Book Festival returns for our 9th year! See what crazy and amazing creations your friends and neighbors come up with.
What is an Edible Book?
An edible book is an item that looks like a book, puns on a title, refers to a character, or just has something to do with books. The only rule is that entries must be made from edible ingredients. Edible Book Festivals have been held all over the world, and there is array of examples found online. The festival started as a celebration to commemorate the birthday of French gastronome Jean-Anthelme Brillat-Savarin (1755-1826), famous for his book Physiologie du goût, a witty meditation on food.
How do I participate?
The Edible Book Festival is open to anyone: the young, the old, and everyone in between. Register your entry by Tuesday, April 9 here. Then make your edible book and drop off your creation on Thursday, April 11 by 5:30 p.m. Everyone will get to vote on their favorites from 6-7:00 p.m.
Drop In Junk Art!
Friday, April 12, 4-5:00 p.m.
