NO ROOM FOR DOUBTERS

Mark 5:22-43 tells us the story of Jairus’ 12-year-old daughter who died. Jesus went to Jairus’ house and took only Peter, James, and John with him. The wailers [mourners] were already there, travailing with grief.
When Jesus told the crowd in verse 39 that the “damsel is not dead, but sleepeth,” they laughed him to scorn [vs. 40], perhaps thinking he was crazy.
Jesus put everybody of the room where the dead girl laid except her two parents and his three disciples. He took the girl’s hand and commanded her to arise. She promptly came back to life. The unbelieving crowd at the house were greatly astonished at this resurrection.
Why did Jesus put them all out of the room to start with? It is because he would not allow unbelief into the room. It would interfere with the work of faith. James 1:6-7 tells us that we must “ask in faith, nothing wavering.” The unbelievers at Jairus’ house would have been a hindrance to the miracle if they were allowed to remain in the room.
Yes, there might be some occasions where unbelievers may remain to see a sign to bring them faith, such as with an open meeting with a minister. However, this example with Jairus gives much evidence that there should be no doubters to interfere with God’s miraculous works.
This also applies to our faith as written in James 1:6-7. Any waveringis not faith at all, according to Hebrews 11:1 says, “Faith is the substance (physical matter) of things hoped (prayed, believed) for, the evidence (positive proof) of things not seen (in the physical realm just yet).”
Absolute faith has no room for doubt.

SAYING NO TO STINKIN THINKIN

God made us spirit, soul, and body. Our mind, which is our soul, is a magnificent piece of art. It has the capacity to retain memories greater than any computer. Because of this ability, it is often hard to let go of certain memories that bring pain to us.
Unlike God, who can cast our sins into the sea of forgetfulness and never remember them, we tend to hold on to memories that we should not hold on to. There is only one way to rid our minds of memories like this and it is through making a choice to not think about them.
In Philippians 4:8 Paul gives us some great advice. It says, “Finally brethren, whatsoever things are true; whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
If we take this verse seriously then there is no room for thinking about things that are lies, dishonest, unjust, impure, ugly, of a bad report and not virtuous. What we think about determines whether we live in victory or defeat.
Proverbs 237a says, “For as he [you and I] thinketh in his heart, so is he…” We become what we think about. We need to let go of the “stinkin thinkin” and think on the promises of God and not what the enemy brings to our minds. This is not something that happens overnight, it is a daily choice to think about the right things. It means crucifying the fleshly thoughts that come and saying to them, “no more” I choose to live by what God says and not the thoughts Satan fills my mind with.
Then we will have peace and live victoriously.

PROPHETIC WORD
AS GIVEN TO HELEN SANDERS
Why are you skeptical my child, wondering if I will use you for my glory? Would you think it would be better to use a rock or a mule that cannot speak? Would you rather I used someone with an eloquent voice and rich apparel? I would have you know that none of these things are counted worthy when I call someone. It is not about the outward appearance, my child. It is your inner willingness to be used by me. It is your love of me that grows within and reflects without. Now do not think for a minute that your natural gifts are not needed, but they are not what I will use. It is my words in your mouth and my love in your heart that will destroy yokes and remove burdens.
For I look at the inner man while others would look at the outward appearance, the education, the natural abilities, but that is not what I look at. I know your heart, and I know what you think before you speak. I can trust a yielded vessel far more than one that is puffed up in pride walking in their own natural abilities.
For my child, you have taken the time to sit at my feet and learn who I AM. I have given you more ability through those moments than you can ever know. So, do not question whether you can be used by me. I do not look for those with natural ability. I look for those that are willing to hear and obey. Now, rise up and go forth in my power and my strength and you shall see mighty things happen. Do not lean unto your own understanding and mental attributes for I will not work through that part of you. I will work through your spirit that has tuned in to hear my voice which is that still small voice that speaks to you and you say to me “Yes, Lord, I am willing.”
Now listen for my instructions and be ready to be used for the hours ahead will bring darkness to many lives. You will be filled with my light, and you will bring many out of darkness as you let me shine through you. Do not hesitate to speak when I tell you to. Do not hesitate to go where I tell you to go, for I have chosen you for such a time as this saith the Lord.

My heart was full and ablaze with His Love for me. And as I meditated on this feeling, I heard a different sound. It was the Father speaking.
Don’t question My Love and My purposes I have for you. I wrote My words in the Bible. They are living and powerful. They do not die. But if you do not listen to My words, you will surely die. My words will go on living. All you have to do is surrender your life to My Son. He lived and died to bring My people back to Me. I am your biggest fan but My words will not continue to cover you if you continue to reject My Love for you. Choose this day who you will serve. Time is running out. I have waited patiently but I grow weary for you have not repented and turned from your sin. I am a loving and forgiving God but no one has turned back to Me. Look up because I am coming soon. When I come I will divide My people from those of this world. Choose today. Receive My Son and know that as you do, every sin is blotted out. Your sin is ever before Me but I am a forgiving God. Repent, confess your sin and receive My forgiveness.

To hold the hand of God and take his good advice.
Keep close and share his thoughts, for in the Bible,
Much is taught. So much we need to know and do,
The best we can. This life is hard, but always see,
Our many blessings. Be thankful and pray,
For so many have nothing, not even God,
This Christ, this Savior. Each step you take, hold the hand,
Of the one, who died for you. He will guide you,
He will help you be strong and persevere.
