George Frederick Handel composed a wonderful musical oratorio about Jesus called “Messiah.” One of my favorite choruses in it is taken from Isaiah 9:6 which reads, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given. And the government shall be upon his shoulder. And his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
The prophet Isaiah gave this prophecy approximately 740 years before Jesus was born. Isaiah also gave other prophecies relating to Jesus’ passion and crucifixion, and God fulfilled all of them in Jesus.
Many people only know Handel’s Messiah for its rousing “Hallelujah Chorus,” but the oratorio gives a complete rendition of Messianic fulfillment from early prophecy through Christ’s ascension.
If you have never listened to Messiah in its entirety, I would encourage you to do so. For many years I have listened to it every Christmas season. It has blessed me so much. I still think of some particular choruses that are my favorites.
Handel said that as he wrote this that there were many times that he felt as though he was in the very throne room of God in heaven.
As for me, the best part of Handel’s Messiah is that it is all about Jesus.

You probably already know this, but there are words that are absolute faith killers. Words like it’s impossible; I’m too tired; Nobody really loves me; I can’t go on; I can’t do it; I’m afraid; and so many more.
These words steal faith right out of our hearts. They speak the opposite of what God says. We cannot have it both ways my friends. If you want to see God move in your life, then you must resolve to stop speaking unbelief!
Death and life are in the power of the tongue. [Proverbs 18:21.] You either bless yourself or curse yourself with your words.
God has an answer to every need! Of course there will be trials, but God has the answer to trials. After all, He is the one that made you, so He alone knows how to make things work for you. He has even given you a manual called the Bible to fill yourself up with words that bring life and not death.
Satan will always deceive you into believing that God does not care, but that is a lie! God gave His very best, His Son, Jesus Christ so that he can have a personal relationship with you. He is not looking for ways to not be there for you. It cost him everything so you can be sure He is going to never fail us.
Sure, we are put to the test, but that is a good thing, because they teach us how to live by faith, and not sight. Sometimes the best thing we can do is tell ourselves to “shut up,” and only speak the Word of God!
Remember, you cannot have it both ways. Do not be robbed by your own words, which leads to stinking thinking, and eventually sinking. Why don’t you make a determination to trust God today? He is a know it all and knows just what you need to be all that you can become.

PROPHETIC WORD

You will see very soon my child that there will be much more darkness than there has ever been. At the same time, the counterfeit “angel of light” will bring signs, wonders, and miracles that will try to deceive the very elect. Do not believe all that you see for not all miracles, signs, and wonders are from me. There will be a display in the heavenlies soon that will cause many to fear, but hold your peace and do not fear, for have I not said that this would happen? Yes, this is the hour that will usher in these things, but you are not a child of darkness and will know the real from the counterfeit. As you spend time with me in the secret place you will draw much wisdom from me saith the Lord. For only this time of quietness alone with me will bring you the answers and the peace in the days ahead. Remember, I said these things would happen. There is much going to happen but know this my child that I am not caught unaware of these times. I am allowing certain things to come to orchestrate the events that will have to take place before my return. Study my word and see what those things will be and know that it will not catch you by surprise either. For nation will rise against nation, and there will be much chaos in the street as the gross darkness falls on the entire earth. But know that this is your hour to rise and shine. For your light will dispel darkness. Make sure that your armor is on so that you are not deceived, for there will be voices from the pulpit that are as of Baalak of old, wanting a word from me to curse and bring down my people, but I would say that nothing can do this outside of my will. I will see you seated with me in heavenly places, and from that position will lead you and guide you. Yes, there will be voices from the pulpit that are full of deception saying “Peace and safety” but then sudden destruction shall come. Take time to remove anything from your heart that would hinder you from hearing from me. Forgive quickly. Love those that have used you and bless those that have cursed you. Do not seek vengeance, for I alone will bring vengeance. Your place is to love the unlovely and be the light while all around you is darkness. Again, take time to be with me, for as Moses spent time on the mountain and the glory was upon his face, it shall also be upon you as you seek me and spend time with me. Let go of all distractions that would keep you from hearing what I would say to you in this hour. For the events I have mentioned will happen very shortly, so, do not be caught off guard. I love you my child, and I seek only the best for you. It will come as you seek me with your whole heart. Now, fear not, and do not rely upon the arm of man. Rely upon me as your entire source of life. For I am your life saith the Lord.

Just hold on for God is getting all things in order in your life; So you stand still, trust God and allow Him to complete His work in you. Remember God is the Master Planner and He is the Master Builder. Therefore He will allow things to happen that’ll shape you into the vessel that He knows you must be; And God will do all of this in order to better prepare you to successfully walk on into everything He created you to be and to do. So keep the faith and then you hold onto The Master’s strong hands; For He has the situation under control...And He has you totally covered and fully protected.

Tuesday Thought For Today
As I sit here and ponder the news events of the day, I am reminded of Your mercy and grace that covers me. I am amazed by Your love. You hold me in the palm of Your hand and I am safe. There is no other God but You. And I rejoice at just being in Your Presence. Thank you for restoring my life and setting me free. Thank you for saving me.
This was and is my story. And each of you have a story of God’s amazing grace and mercy over your life. It is so important to share God’s amazing story with others. Don’t be afraid to share what God has done for you. We won’t know til we get to heaven how our testimony affected those who heard it.
"My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness And Your salvation all the day, For I do not know their limits. I will go in the strength of the Lord God; I will make mention of Your righteousness, of Yours only. O God, You have taught me from my youth; And to this day I declare Your wondrous works. Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come." Psalms 71:15-18 NKJV

Do they know their God, or are they their own God?
It’s sad to think that God in Heaven,
Because we are so bad, he had to give his son to die,
All for us, for our forgiveness.
What love! What love is this? It’s the one, the only,
God’s love. It all started in the Garden,
So beautiful, so new. Eve and Adam, they are there,
God the Father too.
But here comes trouble brewing,
This Devil does deceive. Evil enters beauty,
God shuts his eyes and grieves.
Thousands and thousands of years have passed,
And how much have we learned?
The Devil still prowls, we’re still in sin.
But our Lord God had empathy, his Son he sent,
So, we could win forgiveness. Come back to God!
