February Events & Updates, No 3

Greetings!

It’s Presidents Day Weekend. A great occasion to check if you and those you know are ready to vote in California’s Tuesday, March 3 Primary elections. The voter registration deadline for the primary elections is this coming Tuesday, February 18 —the day after President’s Day. Share this register to vote online link.

In past elections voters faced problems at their polling places when they found they were not registered in a party so could not vote in a party primary, or did not know to ask for a cross-over party ballot. Be sure you know if and how you are registered, and what you need to do to participate in the party primary elections of your choice. This year you will be able to register or re-register at your polling place , update your address if needed, change party registration, as well as ask for cross-party ballots. See more details and links to voter information and registration here.

Events for San Francisco Early Care Educators coming up!  Registration is now open for the Policy & Advocacy Forum sponsored by CAD and EDvance at SFSU, as well as Phoebe Heart’s Creativity Conference . See details on these as well as East Bay Chapter of CAAEYC and CAAEYC events below.
