- Worked with legislative leaders to amend laws as necessary to enable appropriate public documents accessible via the Internet
- Restructured the office to reflect the best business practices from the private sector
- Reduced printing costs through e-notifications and electronic court files
- Committed to the complete imaging and preservation of historic case files from the 1800's, beginning in 1836 with the Republic of Texas and continuing into the very first cases filed after statehood in 1845.
And Donna Kay McKinney will continue to improve the office and provide exceptional levels of services to all our customers through the leveraged use of technology, training, and process improvements.

Donna Kay McKinney's Education
Donna Kay McKinney has a
Master's Degree in Public Administration and owned an auditing consulting business.
Plus, she has worked in:
- Bexar County Commissioner's Court
- Bexar County Probate Court #2
- Bexar County Tax Assessor Collector
- Texas House of Representatives
- Texas Senate
In addition, her work experience gives her expertise in accountancy, computer processes, benefits administration, budgeting, consulting, finance, human resources, legal, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Office, and real estate.
Donna Kay's sister, Sue Johnson, and her dog Bennie are big fans as well.
