Spotlight On:
Volunteer Appreciation Month
April is Volunteer Appreciation Month! Thank you to the hundreds of dedicated volunteers who provide much-needed help to CRC.

From stocking shelves and helping participants in our Food & Nutrition Center, to serving at our English Tea, to cleaning at our Resale Stores, volunteers are the heart of CRC! We could not help our neighbors in need without your support.

CRC Proclamation at the City of Encinitas
“Together, CRC and the City will continue to work in partnership to help address homelessness and to work toward a better future in which the most vulnerable members of the Encinitas community can grow stronger, which will in turn help our entire community grow stronger.” - Encinitas Mayor Catherine Blakespear at last week’s CRC Proclamation .
Thank you to the City of Encinitas for partnering with us to build a stronger community!
See photos from our English Tea!
Thank you to the many who helped us raise critical funds and awareness for CRC's programs at our 23rd Annual English Tea!

Our guest speaker, Rita, a former child in our Domestic Violence Shelter, shared her story and thanked CRC for providing her a safe place that felt like more of a home to her than anywhere else. Thank you for helping children like Rita and the many in our community recovering from domestic violence, hunger and homelessness.
We need more personal care items!
Our personal care item shelves are bare! These items go to our participants in our domestic violence shelter and participants and families who come to us in need of food. View our wish list for items. You can drop off items between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm at our offices at 650 Second St.

A Life-Saving Gift from Encinitas Coastal Rotary Club

Thank you to the Encinitas Coastal Rotary Club for donating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Machine to CRC. AEDs are used to treat sudden cardiac arrest. We hope that we will not ever need to use this machine, but in the event that we do, the AED will dramatically improve someone's chances to live.
