"Be joyful in hope,
patient in affliction,
faithful in prayer.

Transportation requests to and from medical appointments, food pantries, grocery stores and miscellaneous errands has grown significantly over the past few years.

Although Kent County offers a variety of options, residents don't always qualify for services leaving them dependent on others. VIS is very grateful for the volunteers who faithfully serve in this way already, but the need is greater than the number of volunteers we currently have. We NEED more volunteers!

Would you please prayerfully consider this opportunity? If God is nudging you, please contact Rosemary Tymes at rtymes@visgr.org or David Lundberg at dlundberg@visgr.org to discuss this opportunity in more detail and learn what is needed.

Remember, by serving, not only are you filling a need but you are being the hands and feet of Jesus. This is a tangible way to model the love of Jesus and meet new people. The best part, you will be paid...not monetarily but by the relationships that are formed and by the deep gratitude often expressed by VIS friends.

"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared in advance as our way of life."
Ephesians 2:10
