We are happy to announce that we are ready to release the 2024 Club Handbook and a tentative version of the 2024 Competition Calendar!

- Please note that this competition calendar is subject to change based on facility availability
- The competition calendar will be posted on our website in the fall - this copy is for clubs to begin the planning process and to budget for the season
- Please note that "Interior" does not necessarily mean Kelowna. Events may be held in Kamloops, Vernon, Penticton, etc.
- Please note that "Island" does not necessarily mean Nanaimo or Victoria. Events may be held in Campbell River, Nanaimo, Victoria, etc.
- We will release the exact locations as soon as we are able.
- 12U-16U Provincial Championship Dates and locations are TBA.
- For budgeting purposes, please include a 3.3% charge as the Sportlomo processing fees
Structure:
We are also happy to announce that we have reviewed all submitted feedback and have decided to keep the new club structure that was introduced for the 2023 Club Season. There will be some updates/modifications based on feedback. More information will come in the following weeks. This structure will be in effect for 15U-18U Girls ONLY. All other age categories will be utilizing the same structure they did in the 2020 club season.

- This will be a live document and will grow as questions are added. As updates are finalized, this document will be adjusted for 2024.
Ranking:
- 15U Girls will use Regional Ranking Tournaments
- Teams will then be seeded into a Provincial-wide ranking (detailed in the FAQ and Club Structure document)
- 16U-18U Girls will use Athlete Ranking Points (same as previous seasons)
- 15U-18U Boys will use Athlete Ranking Points (same as previous seasons)
- 12U-14U Girls will use self-designation in A/AA levels (same as previous seasons)
Important notes:
- We have removed the application process for athletes. Athletes may still utilize the Early Signing Period to secure a position in the same club as the previous year.
- Registration dates and deadlines are different for 15U-18U Girls compared to all other age/gender categories.
- Early signing:
- Will be for 15U-18U only
- 12U-14U teams will not be eligible to use the Early Signing Period
- Safe Sport/MED:
- Safe Sport and Making Ethical Decisions MUST be completed before your first event
- If these are not completed, there will be a $250 sanction applied, a team warning recorded, and the offending Team Staff will not be permitted to coach/be on the bench until the courses are completed
- Rosters:
- If a coach that is on site is not the same as what is listed in Sportlomo, and there is no communication with Volleyball BC ahead of time to note the change, there will be a $100 sanction applied
- Substitutions:
- 15U-18U Girls:
- Division 1: 12 limited
- Division 2 and all subsequent divisions: 12 unlimited (will now match Provincial Championships)
- Events:
- 17U Girls will be run as their own events this ear
- 17U Girls events will be held alongside 18U girls should there be a need to combine them
- Fees:
- For the next 3 seasons, there will be a steady 4% increase from year to year on event fees for all events except for Provincial Championships. Provincial Championship costs will be decided based on the facility available and other related costs
- Do not forget to include a 3.3% transaction fee for your budgets
- Amounts shown below do not include the 3.3% transaction fees
