So, the opening of the Show was a smash hit, with prints flying out the door on their little wings.
Meanwhile, new, beautiful artwork by Artemio Rodriguez and other international artists kept arriving at our doorstep, and so, of course, we put 'em up.

Description:
This course engages color in an immediate way with this overview of the screenprinting process. Photo processes will be covered, as well as all you need to know about ink preparation, registration and pulling awesome prints. Appropriate for all levels of experience, from beginner to advanced.

Etching techniques of line, aquatint and softground using zinc or copper plates will be covered. Drawing Explorations - Print and Card Illustration
(includes a project using relief printmaking)with Sanya GlisicSundays, April 14 - May 5, 2013 4 weeks, 12 - 3pm $175 ($25 deposit required to hold a place in the class) Description: Students are invited to join in a fun, relaxing and supportive atmosphere to strengthen their drawing skills, imagination and practice. In the first part of the course, students will create drawings and illustrations through a series of playful text and image exercises. In the second part, students will learn the basics of linoleum block carving and printing, and produce an edition of their own greeting cards or small prints by hand. Great for students looking for guided exploration into illustration, art and printmaking!
