Registration Deadline Approaching

Materials are available and registration is open for the Called Special Meeting of Presbytery on August 15. The meeting was called for the purpose of receiving a report of the Commission on Ministry and acting on their recommendations for the 2025 Minimum Compensation Criteria. The meeting will be held virtually on Zoom beginning at 7:00 p.m., there will be no in-person option. Please be sure to register prior to noon on August 14. No late registrations will be accepted.

Rev. Noah Morgan was ordained on July 19, 2024 at Westminster Church, Richmond.
Madison Cody will be ordained on August 24, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.Campbell Memorial Church, 3712 Weems Rd. Weems, VA 22576.

Corell Heads to Dominican Republic

After several years stateside, Cindy Corell is moving to the Dominican Republic and will serve groups worldwide through the Global Solidarity Collective. Her work through Joining Hands in Haiti has evolved to a wider approach, and will include working closely with leaders of similar networks in other countries. We pray for Cindy as she begins this new call.

VICPP to Host Informational Events

Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy is hosting events to discuss how communities of faith can use their property to provide affordable housing. Events will take place in October across the Commonwealth.

MVP Internships: Now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 program year. MVPS are paid interns who live and work at the Camp for nine to twelve months.

Homecoming: August 30 - September 2

This is an intergenerational weekend event for all who love Camp Hanover to come together to celebrate with activities and fellowship.

Come to the Waters Women's Retreat: October 4 - 5

This weekend of faith and fellowship in the beautiful setting of Camp Hanover helps women get away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. We take care of the details, so you can relax and enjoy time away. Event leaders are Rev. Carla Pratt Keyes and Allison El Koubi.
